enterprise-lamp

Let this Star Trek lamp welcome you to space, the final frontier any time you choose. A button on the base will turn the Star Trek theme song on, complete with the spoken prologue as the Enterprise on the base spins. The four color changing LED’s on the starship’s sensor array platform give it that look of a starship first being unveiled. Put it on your bedside table and talk like Captain Kirk to give your mate an experience they won’t forget.

“Damn it Jim, I ‘m a doctor not a bartender!”

I can hear it from Bones right now if he were given one of these for his years of service on the Enterprise. For the rest of us, this bottle opener is an excellent way to exhibit our appreciation for science fiction television. And have a beer. Can’t forget that.

Product Page (£9.99, about $20 pre-order for June 30 release)

SpockI am no die hard Trekkie, so excuse me if I do not recall the scene in Star Trek I when this was used. According to the eBay auction information, This authentic spacesuit was featured prominently in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture when “Spock” (Leonard Nimoy) left the “Enterprise” to conduct a mindmeld with the ‘V’Ger Probe’.

Right now the bidding is at $5,049. You’d have to be pretty hardcore to want to spend that kind of money on a spacesuit used in one movie and worn by Leonard Nimoy. On the other hand, it is a one of a kind item. There won’t be a slew of these up for bid.

Star Trek DimmerIf you are a huge Trek fan that wants to ensure that your virginity remains intact for decades to come, the Star Trek Voice Activated Dimmer may be right up your alley.

The dimmer will respond to commands like “Computer, Low” and “Computer, Off” and adjust your level of light accordingly. It will also respond in the voice of Majel Roddenberry, widow of Gene Roddenberry and the voice behind the ships computer in most of the Trek t.v. shows and movies.

I would have thought that nothing could have eclipsed “The Clapper” in the lameness department. Apparently I was wrong.

The Star Trek Voice Activated Light Dimmer is available for $39.95.
