Until now, it seems aviation themed ceiling fans were limited strictly to propellers – however, Raffaele Iannello has moved in and created this incredible 1:6 scale Hughes MD 500 helicopter which hangs inverted from your ceiling and provides a cooling breeze via a remote controlled three speed motor.
The helicopter is made from fiberglass with carbon fiber blades and an aluminum internal structure and is available in shiny black with a silver helipad base. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but I’m guessing it will cost a small fortune.
