The latest zinc alloy space shuttle model from Bandai features the Endeavour—the craft that will fly the final mission off the space shuttle program in 2011.
The 1:144 scale model stands over 15-inches tall (without the base) and includes the Endeavour orbiter, external tank, solid rocket boosters, ISS robot arm, multi-purpose logistics module, 2 astronauts in EVA suits, 3 supports for the payload bay (for use with an in-flight display), cable for use with astronauts, display base for “full stack” display with two photo sheets and AC adapter, display base for “in-flight” mode.
The model is scheduled for release in December 2010, and the pre-order price currently stands at $570. However, if a US distributor is found, the price could drop considerably.
