Lego builders are an impressive bunch. When they don’t find readily available sets for their favorite movies, they make their own. Actually, even when there are pre-packaged sets builders usually improve upon them (if they use them at all). The internet is crawling with fantastic representations of movies in brick form and we’ve chosen five to feature here.
The above replica of headquarters in Ghostbusters is absolutely incredible. Seriously, the details on the inside of the building are insane. It was built by Alexander Jones.
Check out four more Lego sets after the break.
It takes about 20,000 bricks to create the Batcave. This lovely reproduction was built by Wayne Hussey and Carlyle Livingston and features moving parts and working lights – because why not?
Why yes, that is a luscious green Lego Hobbiton. I want to move in. This massive depiction of Shire living was created by David Frank.
No big deal, just the gorgeous coral reef from Finding Nemo in brick form. This swim-worthy replica was built by Sean and Steph Mayo.
The Lego version of Hogwarts by Alice Finch is nothing short of mind blowing. It has several interior rooms on display, custom minifigs galore, and there’s even a dragon. She put almost half a million into this build. Wow.
