Forget Colored Plastic, These Wooden LEGO Bricks Are Prettier By Far

My kids are sitting on the floor playing with a new set of Lego bricks as I write this post. I can’t get up because that would mean possibly stepping on one and impaling myself on a sharp corner hidden in the carpet. Instead, I’ll sit here and look at these beautiful wooden versions that I may have to add to their collection. Technically, they aren’t official Lego bricks, but they look and build just like the real ones. They’re made from maple and birch by Japanese designer Mokurokku and they’ll fit with real Lego bricks so you can mix them up. I wonder if they’re any less lethal when you step on them?
