The world of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire is vast. Actually, vast may be an understatement. Westeros and the surrounding lands are the sort of rich fodder that map lovers drool over, and this fall, there will be a very large puddle of said drool. Bantam is publishing a poster map collection titled The Lands of Ice and Fire; it will be out in October. All of the maps are based on Martin’s designs, and I’m already considering cover a wall in my house with them.
