What hobbyist Mike Senna lacks in fashion sense he more than makes up for in his ability to create awesome robotics. He tackled R2-D2 in 2010 then set his sights on Wall-E. It took all of two years, but the project is finally complete—as you will see after the break, the results are quite remarkable (and adorable). There’s also a video from Maker Faire that shows explains some details about the build.
The life-size Wall-E can wave, hunch its shoulders and make sounds just like his animated counterpart. Just try to avoid being distracted by Mike’s shirt.
