Hot Toys recently held a competition to see who could come up with the nerdiest version of their Batmobile Tumbler with the winner receiving Batman figures. This has become a thing with real cars in Japan and it’s called “itasha” which translates to “painmobile.” These versions cost far less than real cars, but they’re no less beautiful. The winner was the American flag Tumbler and the creator went home with all of Hot Toys’ Dark Knight Rises merchandise for his trouble.
