December 2015 was quite a month. There was the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and there were holidays with Star Wars gifts and there was seeing Star Wars for a second time…and maybe a third. Whew!

If you are a Loot Crate subscriber, you got a little something extra under the tree this year. For everyone else, let’s take a peek inside the “Galaxy” box shall we?

Every Loot Crate box is coming with a shirt now. This one features festive and historic space vehicles in 8-bit style. There were also bonus BB-8 socks.

Peanut butter and jelly tastes better out of an official UNSC ammo box.

Speaking of Halo, there was also a code for a surprise Halo 5 Req Pack.

This Han Solo Funko Pop bobble head was an exclusive, so collectors will dig it the most.

This Galaxy Quest prop replica patch is another exclusive. Man, I can’t wait for that Galaxy Quest tv series to debut on Amazon.

Impressions:

Another solid box. I wasn’t completely blown away, but I wasn’t disappointed about anything in the Galaxy box either. I’m certainly glad that they mixed things up with more than just Star Wars stuff. I have to admit—I’m getting a little burned out on it at this point.

For those of you jumping on board, your first box will be INVASION for January 2016. It’s described thusly:

With EXCLUSIVE items from The X-Files, Alien, The Fifth Element and Space Invaders, plus some classic sci-fi goodies, we can tell you this: the Loot is out there!

This month features a shirt and a plush you can’t find anywhere else, plus three other exclusives.

Six items, five exclusive, plus a new style of pin that comes with bonus content! It’s… unworldly.
