Whenever I used to write things down in notebooks, I would always position the pad diagonally—especially when I was writing in cramped quarters. I say “used to” because it’s been a long time since, you know, I actually wrote something down. I have a cellphone that handles that for me nowadays. Still, this is a great concept from designer Matt Brown.
