As a testament to their love for all things Tolkien, Steve Michaels and his wife Christine built a real-life Hobbit house in the hillsides of northwest Montana. The $410,000 retreat acts as a tourist guesthouse, complete with a modern king-size bedroom, designer kitchen with customized granite counters, HD Blu-Ray television set, XM Radio, three phones and WiFi—all for a fairly reasonable $245 a night.

The house was completed last fall, and since then only 14 visitors have booked the location – possibly because pets are not allowed, and until recently, neither were children. Check out the video after the break to learn more.
