You know that feeling you get when you’re totally buzzed? Or when you’ve downed so much coffee that your mind starts to go on hyperdrive? Well, that’s what the Steam of Consciousness looks like in all its domed splendor–and it’s not about to stop soon.
This awesome steampunk sculpture was put together by artist Christopher Conte, who used a miniature steam engine to keep the kinetic sculpture moving. Conte made artificial limbs for amputees for 16 years, so that experience probably came in handy when he worked on this steampunk project.
