Apple is Selling iPOD Mini’s

Apple’s website now lists refurbished iPOD Mini’s for sale. They have both the original version with the 8 hour battery for $149 as well as the second generation version that has an 18 hour battery for $159.

These were phased out when the iPOD Nano was introduced, but they were the favorite of many. Unlike the Nano, the Mini could take a beating. That is probably one of the reasons for the uproar when the problem with the easily scratched Nano screens came about. People were looking for a better version of iPODthan their Mini, to take it to the next level. And in the end, the product did not deliver the quality results many were looking for.

If all you are looking for is a well-designed, rugged MP3 player, take a look at these. It would have been nice to see the price about $20 lower, but they are still in a very competitive price range.
