Apple Software Update: Limit Your iPod Volume

Following a new French Law that limits the volume of portable audio devices - along with a lawsuit here in the U.S. over iPod related hearing damage, Apple has decided to offer a software update that will allow users to limit the max volume of their iPod. The update will also allow parents to set the max limit of the device and protect it with a password code.
So, many thanks to Apple for protecting us from ourselves.
