Well, we knew DRM free music was a possibility and they delivered. I would say they delivered even more than I expected, because not only do you get DRM free music, but you get a higher quality download. You can still purchase the usual Fairplay DRM versions at 128 kbps for $0.99, or buy unrestricted, DRM-free songs at 256 kbps for $1.29. Additionally, you can upgrade to the higher quality, no-DRM music you have already purchased for just the $0.30 difference. Nice move for both companies
Maybe the next announcemnet will be for the Beatles catalog being made available. Not the biggest deal in the world, but it seems silly that no one offers it.
