Netstream Doorlinx

The DoorLinX TX100 by Netstreams is being billed as the “world’s first IP-Based doorbell / intercom system.” Bascially it allows the user to utilize any MP3 file (up to 1/2MB) as a door chime. And let me tell you, that gives me plenty of ideas.

Unfortunately, the DoorLinX press release seems to indicate that only one MP3 file can be loaded at a time – and it must be done at the dealership when purchased. Frankly, if I can’t annoy neighbors, Jehovah’s Witnesses, girl scouts, trick or treaters, and Fed Ex delivery people with a myriad of custom / interchangeable bell tones, I’m just not interested.
