ScanDisk Corp. has announced a new model in its Sansa line that will offer 8GB of storage (around 2000 songs) for $250. That’s the same price as a 4GB iPod Nano.
The prices of lower capacity Sansas have also been cut by as much as 30%.
ScanDisk is currently a distant second to Apple in the digital player market, but it looks as if they are making a play for market share this holiday season.
