Office Products

From CubicleBot: Fishbowls are nothing new of course, but when was the last time you saw a jellyfish tank atop an office desk? If you have $350 to burn, the desk in question could be yours.

Indeed, this specially designed tank features “full-spectrum energy efficient LEDs for illumination, an air diffuser for maximum oxygenation, built-in biological, chemical, and mechanical filtration, a bubble channel to shield the jellyfish from the air.”

It even includes a voucher good for three jellyfish and pack of food. In short, it’s everything you need to keep the little buggers alive. Plus, you’ll have bragging rights in the office—until someone decides to one-up you with a tank full of piranhas.

The summer is almost over, and that means heading back to school. Actually, after a long, hot summer I was almost looking forward to the new school year (a feeling that completely evaporated about a week in). Part of the fun was having new clothes and a bag full of new supplies. If I had some of the stuff on this list back then, I would have been even more excited — maybe for two whole weeks.

Well, these Marvel superheroes will erase the mistakes that are put to paper that is—which I’ll admit isn’t much these days. I suppose “all of humanity’s mistakes” was a bit of an exaggeration then. More like, “all of the mistakes you make when completing a standardized test”.

Generally speaking, one shouldn’t strive to be like Dolores Umbridge. The Senior Undersecretary turned Hogwarts Headmistress of Hogwarts is cruel and puts excessive amounts of sugar in her tea. Let’s not even discuss all the porcelain, mewing plates featuring kittens. She had a thing for rules, and in moderation, guidelines aren’t so bad. Come up with a few decrees for your household or office with this proclamation board from ThinkGeek.

Ready for a nap? Designer Kawamura Ganjavian created this Ostrich mini-environment which supposedly creates the perfect atmosphere for sleeping on the job:

It is neither a pillow nor a cushion, nor a bed, nor a garment, but a bit of each at the same time. Its soothing cave-like interior shelters and isolates our head and hands (mind, senses and body) for a few minutes, without needing to leave our desk.

It’s hard to tell how one could breathe in this thing, or how they could use it without getting fired – but its nice to know that someone is thinking of the world’s slackers.

This USB-It stick-on USB cable includes two USB cords and a bunch of tiny double-sided adhesive discs, which will allow you to give virtually anything the appearance of a USB compatible device. Although it’s basically useless apart from jokes and pranks, it will surely fuel fantasies of plugging it into your boss’ head and replacing his “Office Dictator” file with one titled “Doormat”.
