50-Inch Apple Monitor And iPhone In January?

The rumor mill is once again turning with regard to the iPhone and, quite frankly, I’m sick of all of the speculation.
However, this time around the rumors included the possibility of a 50-inch monitor being released in January - and that definitely got my attention.
Apparently, someone with ties to Apple indicated that the company has enacted a hiring freeze to make room for the hundreds of telecom managers they will need to push the iPhone. The unidentified informant also mentioned the inclusion of a 50-inch monitor being released in conjunction with iTV.
Again, this is just a rumor at this point so take it with a grain of salt. Still, we all know that the iPhone is coming, it’s just a matter of time.
As for the 50-inch monitor, I wouldn’t get my hopes up - but you never know.
