The Backup Pal is basically a zip drive for your cell phone contacts. It connects to your phone via an interchangeable adapter - and with the press of a button it will store your entire contact list. Should you ever lose your contacts or change phones, you can simply press the “restore” button and everything will be back to normal.
Backup Pal is powered by 3AAA batteries and it stores over 1000 contacts. The device supports the following phone brands: Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Siemens, Samsung, Motorola, Audiovox, LG, Kyocera, Sanyo, and others.
The Backup Pal will be available for purchase starting in September 2006. Prices have been quoted at $39.99 and $49.99 depending on your cellphone manufacturer.
