Is this the real deal or is Kevin Rose just drunk off his ass?
During the latest episode of his weekly Diggnation podcast, Digg founder Kevin Rose shares what he claims is inside information about the upcoming iPhone. He has been right in the past so it may be worth listening to.
The video is pretty entertaining and definitely worth watching, but here is a quick summation of the finer points:
- The iPhone is apparently “as small as s**t”
- The iPhone will have two batteries – one for the phone and another for the music player
- The iPhone will work with both CDMA and GSM networks which means that it will probably be available on most if not all of the major carriers.
- The iPhone will have a slide-out keyboard and “touchscreen on the outside“
- The iPhone will be available in a 4GB model for $249 and an 8GB model for $449
Rose, like most of us, seems to expect that official word on the phone will come out in January during MacWorld. Then and only then will we know if Kevin Rose is on the money or just full of crap.
