The final version of Skype 3.0 for Windows has been unleashed onto the public. Here is a quick glance at some of the changes:
New Features:
Click to Call: Perhaps the most interesting of the new features available on Skype 3.0 is “click to call” which allows the user to call any number on a webpage just by clicking it.
Extras: Users can now play games and share music with friends and family all over the world.
Public Chats: Anyone with Skype can now enter moderated text based public chats.
Skypecasts: This feature was available in a previous beta but is now being opened up to a larger group of Skype users. Basically, Skypecasts are moderated conference calls with up to 100 participants.
Links in Mood Messages: Skype users can now share their favorite links in mood message.
