Note the following under the “Claims” heading:
- The portable computing device as recited in claim 6 wherein the handheld computing device is a cell phone.
- The portable computing device as recited in claim 1 wherein the portable computing device is a handheld computing device.
- The portable computing device as recited in claim 6 wherein the handheld computing device is a media player.
- The handheld computing device as recited in claim 16 wherein the user interface sub system includes a display and a touch pad.
Is Kevin Rose’s info on the iPhone correct? Does the fact that it was referred to as a “handheld computing device” lend credence to the notion that the iPhone will run a mini version of OSX? We will just have to wait and see.
