Finally, a phone/MP3 player that I would actually buy. Seems to make a lot more sense to make an MP3 player that can also be a phone. This ingenious little design from Samsung does just that. The unit looks like a normal MP3 player, but swing the top open and it is now a phone. I like it.
Specs for this thing are;
- Standard: GSM / EDGE / GPRS Class 10
- Camera: 1.3-Megapixel Camera
- Display 128 x 220 px 262K-Color TFT
- Features: 1 GB (Nand flash) built in memory 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz
- MP3 / AAC / AAC+ / eAAC+ / WMA
- MPEG4 / H.263
- Bluetooth / USB 2.0
- MMS / Java/ WAP 2.0
- Size: 3.3 x 1.2 x 0.8 in
- Weight: 2.6 ounces
Plan is to introduce this into Europe by the end of the month. My only question is, When are they bringing this thing to the States? Even before I see how well it actually works, I have decided I want one. I may have to change providers to get it even if it does come here, but I am willing to do that. Bring it on.
