The T-Mobile Dash is either the next best thing in the smartphone category, or something you have no use for. It really depends on what you need it for. If you are looking for one of the smallest, thinnest smartphones with a full QWERTY keyboard that runs Microsoft’s Mobile OS, then this may be the best product out there for you right now.
Running the Window’s Mobile OS, you get to run Microsoft applications on there. Outlook, Internet Explorer, Word, etc. And as far as size? It is only 4.4″x2.5″x.5″. Very small and portable. And the weight? It comes in at a hair over 4 ounces. That makes this just about as portable as you are going to get on a phone with a keyboard that is still useable.
Okay, so the list of features: 1.2 megapixel camera, both Bluetooth and WiFi (802.11b/g), four band GSM / GPRS / EDGE, micro SD slot and battery life that is almost double that of some previous smart phones (960 mAh battery included). In short, in today’s environment, this thing offers about every feature you could want. Starting at $350 and available as low as $199 with a 2 year commitment, I don’t think it is priced badly at all. Comparable to what I would expect from this brand new phone.
These are being tested by everyone that can get their hands on them right now. I look forward to being able to get a full review up by tomorrow.
