YouTube Going Mobile?

YouTubeAccording to AdAge, YouTube founder Chad Hurley, speaking at the OgivlyOne Digital Media Summit in New York, revealed that the site hopes to deliver user generated content to mobile devices by 2007.

Hurley also noted that figuring out a way to advertise effectively on mobile devices was the biggest obstacle the company faced in reaching their goal.

Personally, I still have reservations about the viability of video content on cell phones. Perhaps my mind will change as the technology progresses, but for the time being I’m just not interested.
