The Raspberry Pi board has changed the DIY landscape. It made certain projects easier and more accessible upon its release, and it definitely serves multiple purposes. John has used one to create a completely functional 1/3 scale mini Mac computer. Just look at how portable and cute it is!
He fashioned it from Sintra (a sheet of PVC), a small monitor, a Raspberry Pi board, a USB port, and other odds and ends. He lists all the components on his blog and if you’ve got the patience and know how, you can replicate what he did to create a tiny Mac of your very own. You can be all hipster and take it to coffee shops with a big keyboard; the jokers with iPads and netbooks will be jealous!
