ASUSTek and Microsoft have teamed up to deliver the R1 Laptop series – the world’s first laptop to receive the Vista x86 Premium logo.
“We are happy to congratulate ASUS for being the world’s first WHQL certified laptop maker,” said Thomas Li, Sr. Director, OEM department of Microsoft Taiwan, “We are excited to continue to work with ASUS to bring more new exciting innovations to users that will take the overall computing experience to another level.”
Not much is known about the ASUS R1 outside of it’s WHQL certification, the 180-degrees convertible LCD screen and the inclusion of InfoPen Software / DigiPen Stylus (for use with tablet PC configuration) – but we will keep you posted with any new information as it is made available.
