Dell has announced their 30″ LCD monitor at CES. Long rumored to be coming, the biggest question has been the how they would price it. Unfortunately for anyone who has been hoping that it would be priced around $1500, it will retail for $2199.
Any gamer would probably love to add this to their system, but in order to get the maximum 2560×1600 resolution you need to have a dual-link DVI-D graphics card that supports WQXGA resolution. With 4 USB 2.0 ports, 2 located on the side and 2 on the bottom, it gives users convenient access points to plug in devices such as keyboards, digital cameras, secondary hard drives and printers.
So get that second job so you can afford the monitor and upgraded video card and enjoy your games on this 30″ monster.
