The first ever quad SLI system was unvelied today at CES 2006 – and it is a beast.
Check out the (known) specs:
4 top of the line Nvidia Geforce 7800 512MB cards running inside a Dell’s XPS 600 Renegade system
An Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 955 processor overclocked to an astounding 4.26GHz
2GB of DDR2 667MHz memory
A custom paint job by Mike Lavellee
Needless to say, this rig would chew up any game you threw at it.
Rumor has it that the system will be available for retail sometime in the spring.
