Dell XPS M2010

Dell introduced a new system that is innovative, at the very least. System folds up like a briefcase, and when unfolded has a nice 20″ screen, detachable bluetooth keyboard, integrated camera and microphone, media center remote and 8 nice sounding speakers.

At the high end you can get a 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo processor, 2 GB of RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon X1800 graphics card and a couple 100 GB, 7200 RPM HDD’s. While the system starts at a somewhat absurd $3500, this high end configuration goes for $4675. And while the design is cool and the hardware is high end enough for serious gaming, it does not have the A/V connections or TV tuner to be a serious media center. And for the premium price, you would expect a little more. If you are looking for a workout, it’s 18-20 pound weight will be sure to keep you working.
