The word monster conjures up a lot of different thoughts on video cards, but in this case the size is the one thing that stands out. I am speaking of the ATI R600 series. Get a load of these specifications for the OEM version: 12.4 inches long and consumes 270 watts of power with 1 GB of DDR4. That sounds more like the specs for a computer system than a video card.
Not a lot more is known about the card, but I can tell you that if it does not blow away everything else out there then they will have a tough time selling any number of them. At a time when most users are trying to minimize the size of their systems, this thing is meant for large cases and, hopefully, big performance. I can’t believe with that much real estate and power this thing shouldn’t be able to blow the doors off most everything else on the market.
