Sony’s Core 2 Quad Vaio R Master: It’s Beefy Allright

Starting on February 10th consumers in Japan will be able to get their hands on the Vaio R Master desktop, complete with the new Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor.

The Vaio R has everything – a Blu-ray drive, 3GB of DDR2-667 RAM, room for 3 terabytes of SATA storage, a nVidia Quadro FX 1500 graphics card, and a 24-inch, 1920×1200 LCD when purchased fully loaded.

Speaking of fully loaded, expect to pay ¥995,800 (about $8,241) when the product hits store shelves.
