Ben Q FP421W HD Monitor

The Ben Q Corp has announced that they have developed the first true HD monitor – featuring a 24″ widescreen at 1920X1200.

What makes the Ben Q FP421W different is it’s HDMI connection, which will allow for full on HD (provided that your graphics card can handle it.)

Specifications:

  • 800:1 contrast ratio;
  • D-Sub15, DVI-D, Composite, Component, S-Video outputs;
  • 6 ms response time;
  • 300 cd/m² brightness
  • HDCP compliant

Naturally, the Ben Q FP421W will set you back a few bucks – about $1255 to be more precise.

The company is planning for a September launch – by then we should know whether or not it’s worth the money.
