British Engineering student Ben Allen spent five months and an estimated £4,000 creating a 366cm x 159cm x 51cm NES controller that’s thirty times larger than the original. In fact, the controller is so big it requires at least two gamers to press the buttons by jumping on them. The device was unveiled at London’s Liverpool St station to launch the Guinness World Records 2012 Gamer’s Edition.
“We put our heads together in the pub and decided to create this absurdly large working version! It’s such a rush to know we’ve made history and are being included in the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition.”
