We first learned about 9-year-old Caine and his cardboard arcade in April 2012 when filmmaker Nirvan Mullick made a short film complete with flash mob to raise money for Caine’s education. It became a sensation raising over $100,000 and inspiring the creation of the Imagination Foundation who’s mission is “…to find, foster, and fund creativity and entrepreneurship in kids.”
On October 6th, the one year anniversary of the flash mob, they’re holding Caine’s Arcade Global Cardboard Challenge to encourage kids to create and to help raise funds or the charity. Anyone can sign up to collect pledges, and then spend the day playing, creating and imagining for the future.
