Philips amBX

With Philips amBX system, you not only play video games, you get a sensory experience as well. With a combination of ambient backlighting, desk fans, wrist rumbler, satellite lights and heaters, they try to give you an experience that is more than just what is on the screen in front of you. And the best part is that they say there may be more external devices in the future.

This system is meant to work with games coded for it – and right now the only game that has the coding added is Broken Sword: The Angel of Death. Without a specially coded game, the best it will be able to do is provide some basic lighting effects.

A starter kit is available for $199, a kit with all the options is $399.
