Desperate Housewives…The Video Game

This fall, Buena Vista Games Inc. plans on releasing a PC video game version of the popular television show Desperate Housewives.
Apparently, the player takes on the role of a new housewife on Wysteria Lane who can be “as nice or as mean as you would like her to be.”
“Sometimes you just want to be more in that world than you can be on TV,” said Mary Schuyler, the game’s lead producer, who added that players will be able to pick their own in-game persona.”
By combining Sims type gameplay with the Desperate Housewives brand and attitude, Buena Vista is banking on attracting female gamers into the fold.
I can’t help but think that someone is trying to make a quick buck here - but I will pass judgement until the game is released.
