How Could Wizards Of The Coast Not Hire The Guy That Submitted This Spectacular 70-Pound Resume?

This giant crate full of tablets and a chisel is the elaborate resume of redditor mrdeepimmersion who applied for a game design job at Wizards of the Coast’s Dungeons & Dragons team. The 70-pound crate contained two tablets that he designed and then 3D printed to create molds.

The finished stone-like tablets are marked with a inscription that reads “Whosoever shatters this tablet will have the ability to summon a powerful ally; but be warned, doing so will change the future, forever.” The opposite side features a glyph of said ally.

The crate was sent directly to Wizards of the Coast’s CEO Greg Leeds. I would have loved to been in the office room for that! Although he didn’t land the job he was applying for (his background is in electrical and computer engineering), Leeds loved the resume and passed it along to other companies in the industry. In the end, his hard work did land him a new job.

Did we mention that the job he left was a full-time position with Walt Disney Imagineering? Clearly, this guy has skills.

Take a closer look at his spectacular resume in the gallery after the break…
