Ok, you can play as a ninja or a pirate, and you kill zombies and robots - does it get any more kick ass than that?
Ninja Loves Pirate is an indie project from Swedish developer Muskedunder Interactive and it has developed quite a cult following while in development. As a result, the company has decided to give a little something back to the community in the form of a revamped demo that includes a sneak preview of new enemies, support for gamepad, support for a German keyboard, smoother gameplay, and an in-game control scheme.
According to Muskedunder, they are currently entertaining offers from both publishers and agents and a full-version is well on it’s way.
So, if you missed out on the PS3 / Wii last week and you’re looking to kill some time until the new shipments arrive, check out the Ninja Loves Pirate demo and bask in the sweet side-scrolling goodness.

[...] Indie games are poised to break out in a big way this year, especially given the release of Microsoft’s XNA project for XBox Live.
