When a group of co-workers received a new pool table at work, they set about decorating all of the balls with hand-painted emoji faces just for the hell of it.
The resulting game, dubbed “Poolmoji” seems to make the game more fun. Clearly, the balls have strong emotions about their role in the game.
Maybe you don’t even need numbers and stripes to play a proper game—just make it happy emotions vs. sad emotions. The cue ball can have a neutral expression while the 8-ball is represented by the dead face emoji.
At any rate, if you want to play Poolmoji, you’ll need to find someone with decent painting skills. But I wouldn’t be surprised if these became a real product down the line.
