Which is the saddest statement? That there is a product showing the amount of time our president has left in office? That the item is currently sold out at Wicked Cool Stuff? Or that there is a topplebush.com site that sells this along with all sorts of other stuff? Your choice.
Being ever the pessimists, ToppleBush.com lists the following feature to the device: “Can be reset over and over again until 2024″

I purchased one of these keychains from topplebush.com and they are really a cool item and work great. I then purchased a few more to give out to my friends who also hate Bush. With Bush’s approval rating in the high 20’s to low 20s just about everyone will enjoy having one of these keychains.
I disagree however with the claims being made at the top of this page that topplebush.com was being “pessmistic” in stating these keychains can be reset to the year 2024. Instead I believe the claim they were making is that the keychain can be useful for keeping track of time long after Bush is gone so you won’t need to pitch it after 1/20/09.
I would therefore call any site counting down the days left for Bush “optimistic”.
