Halo 3 Beta Invite With Crackdown Purchase

Crackdown Invite

A scan from an ad in Gamepro magazine suggests that if you purchase specially marked boxes of Crackdown when it is released on the XBox 360 on February 20th, you will get a free invitation to the Halo 3 Muliplayer Beta.

This could potentially sweeten the deal for an already highly anticipated game, but as Roufuss on Cheap Ass Gamer suggests, it could be a warning flag that the game is flawed and the invite might be the only way to move the game off shelves.

So I guess the question is, would the game be worth buying for the Halo 3 invitation alone?
