According to sources obtained by Revolution Gaming, IBM has finalized the processor codenamed “Broadway” for the Nintendo Revolution gaming console.
The article notes that the information was obtained through two different sources. One source confirmed that the processor was dual core - the other refused to comment.
Nintendo has apparently shown the plans for the chip to select developers - but since there is no official word from Nintendo, Rev Gaming suggests that this information be classified as a rumor.
The official unveiling of the “Revolution” is slated for May 9th 2006.
