Do you recall that rather clever April Fools’ Day prank that Google and Nintendo pulled? The one where Google released that official-looking promo video which stated that if people completed their “Pokémon Challenge” they’d earn a position at the company along with a business card that said “Pokémon Master?”
Turns out that if you completed the “challenge,” you’ll actually receive a very official business card from Google. Redditor tinygrump posted the above pic, along with a letter that was signed by Google software engineer Tatsuo Nomura. While tinygrump did receive 10 copies of the card, she didn’t receive that coveted Pokémon position. Rats.
