Gamespot has “accidentally” leaked a video of dashboard updates for the Xbox 360 that gamers can expect to receive on May 7th. New features include:
- 600 Windows Live Messenger contacts can be added to your friends list
- Basic text / chat functionality with Messenger accounts / audio and voice may be in the works
- Chat with 6 friends at once while playing games or movies via Messenger
- Messenger friends will know gamertag and the game you are currently playing
- Marketplace will have a dedicated blade in the UI / skin will change independent from theme
- Users will now see what achievements they have unlocked onscreen
- Download content in low-power mode followed by auto-shutdown
- Partially downloaded videos can now be viewed
Nice! Looks like Microsoft did a good job with the updates this time around.
