LEGO Store Employee Uses His Wares To Build “Functional” Portal Gun [Video]

This is a case of bringing your work home with you in the best way possible. Built by an employee at the Lego store in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this Lego Portal gun took a year of planning, three weeks of actual building and about 2,000 pieces. Inside the gun there’s a Lego Mindstorm controller that opens and closes the prongs and activates little orange and blue lights. Why don’t they sell this?
