Play “Doom” on Your iPod Nano

Back in the day I wasted an incalculable amount of time blowing away demons in the orignal version of Doom. At the time, I was running the game on an old IBM that barely had the power to run a calculator. Now I can re-live all of those precious gaming moments while on the go with iDoom for the iPod Nano.

The hack involves installing iPod Linux, which is fairly risk free by all accounts, but it may still void your warranty. So be warned.

The quality of this latest iDoom release is far superior to earlier versions. The video looks good and the frame rates seem to be decent. For a demonstration of this iPod hack in action check out this link.

So, if you have an iPod Nano, a taste for nostalgic gaming, and a “who cares” attitude towards voided warranties - pick up this hack and get fragging.
