PS3: Even More Expensive To Own

Never mind the $600 price tag for the premium PS3 - apparently the system will be even more expensive to own because of its outrageous power consumption.
According to Newlaunches, Sony has admitted that the console uses 380 Watts of power. That’s over twice as much as the XBox 360 and eight times as much as the PS2.
To put that into perspective, if you play the PS3 4 hours a day for a month, it would add around $80 to your power bill.
Hopefully the enormous amount of heat this thing must emit will be enough to keep your whole house warm. Maybe you could save a few bucks that way.
