Samsung has thrown it’s hat into the 30-inch monitor ring alongside offerings from both Apple and Dell.
The 305T boasts 2560 x 1600 resolution, 178 degree viewing angle, 16:10 aspect ratio, 400cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 6ms response time.
Other features include: Dual DVI Digital Link, Separate H/V, DVI-D (Dual link), DDC 2B, USB powered hub option, USB 2.0 (1 up x 4 down), and Mac compatibility.
Unfortunately, the 305T only supports DVI inputs which means that television connections would have to be done through some sort of conversion process as opposed to a direct connect.
The 305T ($2000) looks like a great monitor, but can it beat out the Dell 3007WFP that has been price reduced to $1699? (Currently $1,444 on the Dell website)
